Wiki / +Skill Levels

Every skill can reach +11.

Some gear and every village building add flat levels to one non-combat skill. Those levels count toward recipe, activity and zone-travel level requirements and toward your raid lend level, so they let you craft and gather above your real level. Since October 17, 2026 every non-combat skill has the same ceiling:

Skill gloves

+4

Profession trinket

+2

Village buildings

+5

Total

+11

Combat has no +skill items on purpose: Combat level gates gear and zones, so it is earned only by fighting.

The ceiling for each skill

Computed from the live item and building data.

Profession trinkets (+2)

One per skill. Each gives +2 to its skill, XP per task, a small resist and the skill's own bonus (2x Gather, Item Find or a Bonus proc). They drop from the resist-gated special enemies of Zones 18–23: 1 in 20,000 per win in Zones 18–20 and 1 in 50,000 from Zone 21, boosted by Item Find. You need the listed resist to fight those enemies.

Skill gloves (+4)

Every skill has Tier 1 gloves at +4. Higher-tier skill gloves keep the same +4 and add combat stats, resists or utility, so they are worth wearing in a single loadout that does more than one job.

Village buildings (+5)

The 34 Construction buildings rotate through the 9 non-combat skills: Tiers 1–9 give +1, Tiers 10–27 give +2. Tiers 28–34 give no skill level (they keep all their other stats), which is what keeps every skill at the same +5. Add-ons install into 1 slot per housing tier, up to 5, so a full +5 for one skill takes 3 of those slots.
