Wiki / Village
The Housing tab is now the Village — home to its first NPC.
Everything Housing used to do — upgrading your home, the Housing Bank, Salvaging — is still there, just under a new name. The Village is also where new NPCs will live going forward, starting with a trader who solves a real problem: unique drops you can't use and can't trade away, especially in Solo Self-Found where there's no player market to offload them on.
🗡️ Grimsby the Fence
A shady trader in the Village. He'll buy specific unique items off you for Trader's Tokens, then sell you a different one from his own stock once you've saved up enough.

⚒️ Profession weapons
Grimsby also sells 7 weapons for 5 tokens each — one per profession. Each is gated on that profession's own skill level, not Combat, so a level 57 Smithing character with 1 Combat can equip the Journeyman's Hammer just fine. Combat level has zero bearing on any of these.
Their ATK (112) matches a Tier 16 (Combat 53) weapon enhanced to +3 — solid for the level, but noticeably below what a max-level Combat character would carry, since these are meant to be an easy first unlock. A stronger, separately-found level-65 variant is planned for later. You can also sell any of these back to Grimsby for 1 token if you change your mind.
Prospector's Pick
Requires Mining Lv 57
112 ATK · +12 XP/task · +16% 2x-gather chance
Forager's Sickle

112 ATK · +12 XP/task · +14% item find
Spellcrafter's Runestaff
Requires Spellcrafting Lv 57
112 ATK · +12 XP/task · 14% Bonus Enchant
Bonus Enhance, Bonus Brew, and Bonus Enchant are new stats — full mechanics and exact odds are on the Item Stats Glossary.
🛡️ Profession offhands
Each profession weapon has a matching shield-slot offhand, 5 tokens each, same level-57 profession gate. They're deliberately weaker companion pieces: 30 DEF (a Tier 16 / Combat-53 shield enhanced to +2, one step below the weapons' +3 reference), +8 XP/task, and half the weapon's signature stat. Sellable back to Grimsby for 1 token.
Wearing the weapon and offhand from the same profession together stacks their signature stat — e.g. the full Smithing pair (Journeyman's Hammer + Bulwark) gives 14% + 7% = 21% Bonus Enhance.

⚔️ Combat gear
5 items for 5 tokens each, gated on a genuine Combat level 61 — no profession skill shortcut this time. Tier 18, matching the same tier as 5 existing zone-unique drops (Fallen Crown, Overlord's Pauldrons, Citadel Greaves, Kingsfall Choker, Sovereign's Mark), but in the 5 slots those uniques don't cover: ring, gloves, boots, shield, and weapon.
Since these can never be upgraded with Upgrade Orbs, their ATK/DEF is already baked in at the +3-enhancement value. Their Item Find / Gold Find / XP-task stats match the real rare Tier 18 uniques' magnitude (15% find, 18 XP/task) — full strength, not a discounted version. Sellable back to Grimsby for 1 token.

How it works
Open the Village tab and talk to Grimsby to see which of your current items he wants.
Trading in an eligible item removes it from your inventory and gives you Trader's Tokens.
Once you have enough tokens, buy any item from his own stock — no other requirement.
Trader's Tokens can't be traded or mailed to other players — they're tied to your own account.
Any of the 3 world bosses also has a small (0.5% per player, per kill) chance to drop a Trader's Token directly, announced in world chat when it happens.
Why this exists
The 25 zone-unique items (Tiers 16–20) and the new Conqueror's set pieces all drop randomly — you might end up with three copies of one and none of another. Grimsby will buy either off you for Trader's Tokens.
For now, Grimsby only sells back the 7 Conqueror's pieces — the 25 zone-unique items aren't available to buy from him. He's getting his own curated loot table down the line, so his sell list will grow and change over time.
