IdleWorlds now has a public roadmap on the wiki. It's built from your threads in the Discord #suggestions and #bugs channels, which we sweep every few days: each thread gets marked done, planned, reviewed or declined, and the roadmap is the plan behind those marks. Here's the short version, and the reasoning behind it.
October was a big month. Guild raids grew to four bosses with a fifth in Practice, helpers got rewards for re-running bosses, and Raidforged gear arrived. The Shop, Embers and the Patron Pass replaced the old supporter window, without selling any power: every purchase boosts XP for the whole server. The Work Order Board put bounties and work orders in one grid, the Activity panel put your character on screen in your own gear, and the Hollow Night Halloween event opened. Gear Score, the new Item Level curve and an equal +11 skill ceiling for every profession rounded it out.
What we're building now is itemization all the way to Tier 34. Players are already fighting in Zones 23 to 26, and those zones need full loot tables: uniques for every slot, a resist-gated special enemy with its own drops, and an ultra-rare, with the resist gate climbing every three zones. Next to that, Discord account linking will give you roles that match your game progress, like your Zone Control team, raid Slayer roles and Combat 70+.
Next up are fixes that came straight from raid nights and Zone Control: a cleanse on a full-health target turning into a shield instead of being wasted, Rend scaling with Woodcutting, raid leaders requesting lends, loadouts that can leave a slot empty, and Zone Control stopping your fight if your stats drop below the zone's requirement. Chat gets compact system messages and group chat on the front page, and the interface gets a lighter clock, the root of most slowdowns.
The biggest design on the roadmap is guilds. Today guilds are built around raids. The plan adds a Guild Hall with a shared treasury and Guild Levels, guild buildings built with Construction parts that give perks to every member, three weekly guild objectives that everyone contributes to, and eventually opt-in Guild vs Guild sieges with matchmaking so small guilds aren't farmed. On the raid side, crafted gear at Tier 23 and up is catching up with raid gear, so a new tier of raid bosses is planned for players in Zones 25 to 28.
Further out are a Zone Control rework, upgrade luck relief like orb fusion and bad-luck protection, sockets on crafted gear, server events and community projects, a collection log, pets, and a friends list. We're also exploring a world map, a Magic skill and time-limited Event Realms, though those are ideas rather than promises.
The roadmap also lists what we've decided not to do, and why: no paid power, no gambling mechanics, nothing that punishes idle play, no flatter XP curve, and no new Gold Find on items, because it already crowds out every other stat. If you have an idea, post it in #suggestions. Every thread gets read, and the good ones end up on the roadmap.
