Gear Set Bonuses: Every Tier From Copper to Primordite

Equip 6 or more pieces of the same gear tier and unlock a passive set bonus — from a small gold boost at Copper to massive item find and XP gains at Primordite.

Every gear tier in IdleWorlds now has a set bonus. Equip six or more pieces from the same tier — across any combination of weapon, shield, helmet, chest, gloves, legs, boots, ring, amulet, belt, and trinket — and the bonus activates automatically. You will see it in your equipment panel and it flows directly into your character sheet stats. No menus, no activation. If the pieces are on, the bonus runs.

The bonuses are designed to reward full commitment to a tier rather than mixing and matching. You can still wear a higher-tier weapon with lower-tier armor, but you will only unlock the set bonus for whichever tier you have six or more pieces of. If you somehow hit that threshold on two different tiers at the same time, the higher tier wins.

Early sets give small but consistent advantages. Copper gives +5% gold find, Iron gives +5 ATK, Silver and Gold push gold find further. These are not going to transform your play at tier 1, but they reward players who gear completely rather than skipping pieces. By the time you reach Mythril and Starsteel, the bonuses start to feel meaningful — +8% item find and +8 XP per task respectively.

The middle tiers introduce more varied bonuses. Aethersteel at tier 10 gives +10% double gather chance, which directly increases how often your gathering loops yield two of an item instead of one. Runite at tier 8 gives +12% gold find. Dragonsteel at tier 9 gives +20 ATK, making it a strong choice for players pushing into harder combat zones. Moonsteel at tier 14 gives +12 XP per task, which stacks with potions and ring enchants.

The endgame sets from Stormglass onward are where the system becomes genuinely impactful. Stormglass at tier 17 — one of the most commonly worn full sets by mid-to-late-game players — gives +20% double gather chance. That alone meaningfully increases resource yield over time. Kingssteel at tier 18 gives +18 XP per task. Eternium at tier 19 gives both +15% gold find and +10% item find simultaneously.

The final tiers push further. Soulsteel at tier 27 gives +20% gold find and +20% item find together. Chronite at tier 28 gives +30 XP per task. Worldforge at tier 29 gives +35% double gather chance. Glacirite at tier 33 gives +30% item find and +25% gold find. Primordite, the highest tier at 34, gives +30% gold find, +25% item find, and +40 XP per task — the most comprehensive set bonus in the game.

Because the bonuses flow through the same stat aggregation function used by the game engine, what you see on your character sheet under Equipment Bonuses is exactly what the engine applies in every activity loop. There is no hidden calculation. If your character sheet shows +20% gold find from your Stormglass set, every gold reward in every activity uses that exact multiplier.
